Our breeding goal at BirchKnoll Alpacas is to produce alpacas whose fleece is uniform from front to back, is fine with a low micron count, is dense, bright and has a long staple length with a high amplitude crimp that exhibits a proportional frequency.  This fleece needs to grow on a solid framed animal that is conformationally correct and displays a strong bone structure.
